A specialist from MODENGY Company took part in the InnoValve 2026 scientific and technical conference held in Moscow as part of the international PCVExpo 2026 exhibition.

The presentation was titled “Reducing Friction and Wear and Protecting Pipeline Valves Against Corrosion Using MODENGY Solid-Film Lubricant Coatings.”

Pipeline valves operate under significant mechanical loads, repeated actuation cycles and exposure to working media. Under these conditions, friction, wear and corrosion of contacting surfaces can reduce equipment reliability and shorten the service life of its components.

During the presentation, the MODENGY specialist discussed the use of anti-friction solid-film coatings to address these challenges. After application and curing, these materials form a dry functional layer on the surface of components that reduces and stabilizes friction, minimizes wear and provides additional corrosion protection for metal surfaces.

Special attention was paid to the potential applications of this technology in the manufacture and maintenance of pipeline valves. The use of solid-film lubricant coatings makes it possible to protect working surfaces directly and improve their resistance to adverse operating conditions.

The InnoValve 2026 conference brought together pipeline valve manufacturers, component developers and specialists from industrial companies. The key topics included new materials and technologies aimed at improving equipment reliability and service life.

The presentation at the industry conference gave MODENGY an opportunity to share its experience in the development and application of functional coatings with valve industry professionals and to discuss current challenges related to the protection of pipeline valve components.
