High temperatures and increased friction lead to piston skirts wear. This process goes especially actively during the engine running-in period under conditions of so called ‘oil starving’.
MODENGY FOR ICE PARTS coating based on superfine-grained molybdenum disulfide and graphite solves this issue. This compound is applied onto both new pistons and the parts of the engines under repairs.
This allows to prevent scuffing forming, and to reduce piston skirts wear intensity. As a result, the engine operates more reliably and longer.
