Anti-friction solid-film coating based on molybdenum disulfide and graphite
It is used in piston skirts of the diesel and gasoline engines, sliding bearings (crankshaft main bearings, pin bushings, camshafts) in the inner combustion engines (ICE), butterfly throttle (to restore the gap)
MODENGY FOR ICE PARTS based on highly purified molybdenum disulfide and graphite is applied both onto the pistons and the parts of the engines under repair. This coating enables to reduce friction and wear of the piston skirts, to prevent scuffing forming, as well as greatly extend service life of the engine
MODENGY FOR ICE PARTS prevents scuffing occurrence, reduces wear of the camshaft and crankshaft bushings even under extreme vehicle operating conditions, at pressure drop, or insufficient oil amount
Application of MODENGY For ICE Parts enables to provide throttle valve smooth motion and its sensibility increase, it can prevents mechanism jamming, improve tightness, minimize wear of the interacting surfaces
MODENGY For ICE Parts stabilizes friction, prevents thread ‘galling’, jamming, and sticking. It makes threaded connections mounting and dismantling easier
MODENGY For the ICE Parts coating creates a steady layer of dry lubrication on the bearings surfaces that minimizes friction in the mated parts, improves smoothness of going, and extends service lifetime of the dampers.
MODENGY For ICE Parts provides friction reduction, parts going smoothness improvement, components service lifetime extension. This coating reduces coefficient of static friction, and due to this stick-slip motion is prevented, and comfortable driving out for better alignment in the highway traffic is provided.

Applying the coating by your own
Use
to prepare and clean the surface.
Only it guarantees good adhesion
Keep shaking the aerosol can
with the coating for at least 3 minutes
after you hear tapping of a little ball inside it
Spray the coating from the aerosol can
onto the surface to be treated
from the distance of 20 to 30 cm
Let the coating dry
for at least 20 min.
at room temperature
until opacity appears
(it’s the interim air-drying stage)
Apply the second layer of the coating
over the dried previous one,
if necessary
Coating fully cures and achieves readiness to be used after at least 12 hours at +20 ⁰С, or after at least 20 minutes at heating in the kiln up to +170 °C
Preparation
Surface preparation affects greatly on coating adhesion quality and its operating properties!
Additional preliminary surface preparation with mechanical and chemical methods significantly improves coating performances and its service lifetime
Thoroughly clean and degrease the surfaces to be covered. Use MODENGY Special Cleaner-Activator for final step of surface preparation
No oil, carbon deposit residues, fingerprints, and any other contaminations are acceptable on the surfaces to be covered
Applying
Keep shaking the aerosol can with the coating for at least 3 minutes after you hear tapping of little balls inside it
Apply it as an uniform thin layer by spray out of the aerosol can from the distance of 15 to 20 cm
Don’t permit any sags. If it has happened, remove uncured the uncured coating with MODENGYTM Special Cleaner-Activator, then prepare the surface once again, and repeat applying procedure
It is acceptable to apply 2 layers with a break for drying for at least 20 minutes at +20 °C between them
The recommended thickness of the cured coating is 8 to 16 µm
As soon as the coating has been applied, clean the aerosol can spraying head nozzle. To do so, turn the aerosol can bottom up and press the spraying head button for several times directing the jet away from yourself
Curing
Coating fully cures and achieves readiness to be used after at least 12 hours at +20 ⁰С, or after at least 20 minutes at heating in the kiln up to +170 °C
Solvent
Use MODENGY Special Cleaner-Activator to degrease the surfaces, activate surfaces and remove uncured coating off them
