The pneumatic systems used in the railway rolling stock are operated under various climate conditions, and as a result, are subjected to fast wear. When the response moment of the safety valve gets destabilized, it causes compressed air supply troubles.
The Modengy engineers have found a way to reduce friction and to keep the valve load-carrying capacity at operating under conditions of sign-alternating loads, they have done so with МODENGY 1002 anti-friction solid-film lubricating coating.
Use of this coating has enabled to reduce risk of the safety valve failure as well as to protect the main locomotive reservoirs from damages in case the pressure adjustors fail.
Due to creating a solid lubricating layer on the mating surfaces of the tail part and the body, forming scuffing and burrs has stopped. As a result, the service lifetime of the unit has been significantly extended, risk of valve jamming and failure has closed to zero.
