The scientifically-organized technical seminar on pipeline valves (PLV) arranged as part of the business program of The ROS-GAZ-EXPO-2019 Exhibition took place at the EXPOFORUM Congress-and-Exhibition Center on October, 2nd, 2019 This Event joined the Saint-Petersburg International Gas Forum which is annually held among the largest oil-and-gas companies, innovative centers, and design institutes of our country.
The relevant issues of the valve engineering industry were considered in the course of this seminar such as the products production in Russia, ways of protection against counterfeit copying, points concerning raw materials, and items quality.
Mr. Prudnikov, the Modengy General Manager, has presented a report about MODENGY anti-friction solid-film coatings technology, and efficiency of using it in valve engineering.
The anti-friction solid-film coatings technology for rack-and-pinion gear of the axial type valves, pneumatic cylinder liners, slide valve and ordinary valve rods, screw compressors rotors, threaded fasteners has attracted the highest interest. The seminar participants highly appreciated the coatings operating in the chemically aggressive media, at extremely high temperatures and loads.
The product samples have been demonstrated in the course of Modengy’s report which allowed the experts in the field of valve engineering to get a visual notion about of the innovative solid lubricating coatings produced in our country.
