Pump-compressor pipes are used to extract medium out of the wells at mining hydrocarbon raw materials, to supercharge liquid and gas, performing repairing at the oil and gas fields arranging places.
Pump-compressor pipes are use under severe operational conditions that’s why they are made of materials suitable for transferring media under high pressure, resistant to contact with chemically aggressive media, and high loads.
Column assembly is done by connecting the threaded parts of the pipes. To improve tightness and protection of the threaded elements against corrosion, the thread sealing pastes are used in process of mounting the structures.
However, they require renewing at each operation of in-and-out of the well trip, can be squeezed out the contact zone, emit toxic evaporations.
To provide long-term lubrication of the pipe threaded parts, and to save time at mounting, to improve reliability of the structure, and to extend service lifetime of the pump-compressor pipes, MODENGY 1002 anti-friction solid-film coating is used.
It creates a resistant dry layer on the elements that requires no refreshing for the entire service lifetime of the pipes. This product provides effective lubrication without using thread pastes although it is compatible with them.
This coating protects the parts against corrosion during their storage outdoors, stabilizes friction coefficient, prevents scuffing forming, and galling, protective caps freezing-in at operating the components under the Extreme North conditions.
MODENGY 1002 is convenient to use even in the field conditions since it is available in the aerosol can package, and can cure without heating - so, the pipes get completely ready to be operated 2 hours later applying. Polymerization time can be cut down to 15 minutes by means of heating the product in a kiln up to +130 °C.
Use of the coating makes mounting and dismantling of the connections easier, extends service lifetime of the threaded parts even at multiple assembly-disassembly of the pipes.
