In November 2023, an technical specialist of one of the leading oil service companies has visited the Modengy Training Center in order to gain the skill of applying a MODENGY anti-friction solid-film coating.
This visit to Bryansk for the purpose of training was the result of the joint activity on selecting anti-friction coating for the oil equipment parts.
Several items of MODENGY anti-friction solid-film coatings range were tested on a certified computerized test bench as a substitute for an imported material.
All the samples have successfully passed the tests, and one coating based on molybdenum disulfide and graphite that has high load-carrying capacity, and high wear resistance at dynamic loads, with low friction coefficient, and long service lifetime was chosen.
The guest gained all the knowledge and skill necessary to apply MODENGY coatings under conditions of production, that is, he got acquainted with the surface preparation methods, had practice in the technology of spraying out this product, learnt the features of its polymerization, and held quality control of the gained lubricating layer.
Skills practicing was carrying out on the parts that the customer brought with him. Now he will be able to reproduce all the stages of handling with the coating in a professional way at his own production site at producing the items.
