Cylinder-head studs (CHS) are high-strength fastening parts that provide reliable connection of the engine parts.
The specialists dealing with dismantling the heads of the aluminum engine cylinder blocks face the issue of sticking and breaking the steel studs at dismantle attempt.
It has to do with high loads that the parts are exposed to at operating as well as with higher service temperature.
Use of MODENGY 1001 anti-friction solid-film coating based on molybdenum disulfide and graphite enable to provide regular dismantling the cylinder-head studs.
It is applied out of an aerosol can, and cures without heating in a kiln, that’s why it is convenient to be used even under conditions of the service center or a workshop.
In process of curing, a thin steady layer of the product is formed on the studs that excludes direct contact within a metal-to-metal pair. This coating has low friction coefficient, high load-carrying capacity, wide service temperature range between -180 and +440 °С.
Due to this, protection against seizing and sticking, easy mounting and dismantling even after a long operating are achieved, risk of breaking and destructing a fastener excludes.
Use of MODENGY 1001 anti-friction coating provides regular operating, simplified dismantling, and possibility to use the cylinder-head studs repeatedly.
