Wide use of exoskeletons is limited by absence of powerful stand-alone power sources, high price, and difficult maintenance of such devices. The Modengy engineers has suggested solution for the latter problem.
MODENGY 1066 and MODENGY 1014 solid lubricating coatings are applied onto the adjusting elements which move within exoskeleton body grooves. Such treatment contributes to reducing friction of the contacting surfaces, eliminating their squeak, preventing premature wear.
Unlike the conventional greases the coatings are applied just once and require no further renewing. It makes maintenance much easier, and improves comfort level of the exoskeleton user.
