In process of producing terrace boards the wood-polymer composite is mainly used. This mixture consists of wood flour and plastic. It has low cost at high operational features.

Besides mixing, extrusion, and brushing, terrace board making includes embossing, that is imitating wood texture on the items.

Embossing is done at the embossing machines by using drums, the metal rollers with the raised pattern marked on their surface.

The roller heated up to high temperature is rotating and leaving track on the terrace board surface styling it look like wood.

On the last stage of terrace board production, it is not rare when an issue of wood-polymer composite sticking to the heated surface of the drum arises. This leads to increasing number of defective products since the material clogs into the caves of the roller distorting the pattern. If the drum keeps operating with the mixture stuck to its surface the carbon deposits forms after a short while that is extremely hard to be removed.

To provide trouble-free operating of the accessories for terrace board embossing, MODENGY 1014 anti-adhesive coating containing polytetrafluorethylene in its composition is used.

It creates a smooth resistant layer on the roller surface that serves as a barrier between the roller and the terrace board without breaking heat exchange between them.

This product is applied onto the surface of the parts by the standard painting methods, and polymerizes at heating in a kiln.

Due to use of MODENGY 1014 coating, number of non-quality products decreases, time costs for cleaning the embossing equipment from the residues of the stuck material reduces, service lifetime of the drums extends.
