One of the leading manufacturers of compressor equipment has successfully tested MODENGY 1001 anti-friction solid-film coating to protect screw oil-free compressor rotors.

The screws of the oil-free compressors are manufactured with high accuracy as rotating of the parts must be contactless provided the gap between them is minimal.

However, possibility of touching between the surfaces of the rotors is not excluded, especially at first runs of the compressor plants.

Use of MODENGY 1001 coating eliminates screws seizure at accidental contact between them in process of rotating.

This product forms a steady lubricating layer on the parts that effectively separates the surfaces preventing them from damaging.

A thin layer of the coating (20 micrometers) gets even thinner additionally in process of running-in, that’s why no change of process tolerance for rotors surfaces treatment is required prior applying this material. Besides, due to using this coating, the gap between the parts is minimizing.

As a result of preventing seizure and providing efficient lubrication for the rotor surfaces, noise and vibrations at equipment running are eliminated.

MODENGY 1001 is applied by the method of spraying out of the aerosol can, or MODENGY M1-250 spray gun. This product cures fast at room temperature just within 15 minutes.

The manufacturer of the compressor equipment has begun to use MODENGY 1001 as an alternative to the imported coating for the rotors. He has remarked that the Russian material is not inferior in quality to the one used before, and at the same time using it is more economically reasonable.

MODENGY 1001 anti-friction solid-film coating prevents scuffing forming, and seizure of the screw compressors rotors surfaces, effectively reduces noise and vibrations at equipment running, and retains its properties even after a long downtime.
