The rubber seals are the most important part of the hydraulic locks at the hydropower station dams. They serve to seal the constructions, and reliable operation of the hydraulic facilities depends on their state.

However, being exposed to such aversive factors as high pressure, friction, abrasive, the seals stick to the metal parts. As a result, the rubber elements wear fast and fail.

This issue is successfully solved by using MODENGY 1012 anti-friction solid-film coating. It creates a durable separating layer on the hydraulic seals which provides minimal friction coefficient between their surface and the mated parts. So, phenomenon of stick-slip motion is eliminated in such way, and seal wear and risk of their sticking reduces.

Due to the excellent anti-adhesive properties of MODENGY 1012, abrasive and other contaminations don’t build up. The coating has all necessary properties to protect waterworks equipment, and at the same time it’s easy and technologically simple to apply.
