The Bryansk State Technical University is celebrating its 90th Anniversary this year. In honor of this momentous event, the International Conference dedicated to improving items quality of the machine building and aerospace industries has taken place on the territory of this educational institution.
The aim of this event is to exchange the results of the science researches between the scientists, the foreign institutes of higher education experts, and the Russian industrial enterprises.
The Modengy company experts who participated in the Conference as well, told about the anti-friction solid lubricating coatings technology, shared their experience of successful application of these materials, and also presented the results of testing the coatings on the piston skirts of the highly boosted diesel engines.
MODENGY products testing was held at the laboratory of the Tribology Institute of Mechanics Issues named by A. Ishlinsky (Moscow) as part of the state assignment with support of the Defense Ministry, and the Science and Education Ministry of Russia.
The held researches have demonstrated that application of the MODENGY coatings enables to reduce the friction losses down to 5 times, and to increase the service lifetime of the piston skirts of the highly boosted diesel engines.
The samples of the coatings were represented on the Modengy’s display stand as well as the parts and mechanisms of various equipment treated with these materials.
The Conference participants got the opportunity to visit The MODENGY Training Center where the complete cycle of dealing with these coatings was demonstrated to them – starting with surface preparation and ending with quality control of applying the materials.
