The Modengy company has started cooperating with a Russian manufacturer of glass products.
The glass industry is one of the new promising directions for MODENGY anti-friction solid-film coatings application. As a part of the joint work of the enterprises, these coatings were applied onto the guide trays which a hot glass drop is sliding along in order to get to a glass casting mould.
The high-temperature coatings with high anti-friction and anti-adhesive properties are used for the purpose of preventing a hot glass drop from sticking to the trays, and of making its moving into a casting mold easier.
These products are applied onto preliminary prepared surfaces of the guide trays, and require no frequent renewal.
Implementing MODENGY coatings into the process of making glass items contributes to increasing productivity of the engineering lines, and improving quality of the products making.
