Earlier, the conventional greases were applied at prosthesis production but they wore fast, made stains on the
clothes, and emitted toxic evaporations, that is why it was decided to find an optimal alternative for them.
Following our experts’ recommendation, they began treating the drive spiroid gear with MODENGY 1014 anti-
friction coating at assembling the arm and hand prostheses. Unlike the ordinary lubricants, it is applied just once
and lasts for the whole service lifetime of the construction. The coating makes friction coefficient in the spiroid
gear as low as possible, protects the parts against corrosion, and extends the drive service life.
What is important is that MODENGY 1014 leaves no stains, and gives no harmful impact to the human
body. Due to that, the persons who have to use the prostheses can feel more confident and independent now.
