To give the edges of the wooden furniture aesthetical appearance, and to protect them against environment impact, coating is carried out, that is gluing a thin material such as veneer, film, and others.
At large furniture enterprises, the process of treating edges is carried out on the automated equipment, that is on the edgebanders.
The edges are getting fixed on glue. It is getting heated and feeding by using special containers called glue pans.
The glue is loaded into the glue pan in form of granules. After that, it is getting heated by using tubular electric heating elements up to necessary temperature (+120 to +200 °С).
The liquid glue is evenly spread onto the edge surface, and after that it is pressed down with a facing material.
One of the most labor-intensive operations on maintaining edgebanders is removing residues of the glue from the glue pan.
In process of heating, the glue is sticking to the edges of the pan, and during operating for a long while, carbon deposits are forming on the container surfaces. Glue burning can cause necessity to replace the glue pan.
In order to prevent glue burning to the edges of the container,
Due to using the coating, glue burning is prevented, expenses of time and labour for cleaning are cut down by times, service lifetime of the glue pans extends.
MODENGY 1007 is applied by spraying method out of
Due to using the anti-adhesive coating, operation on replacing the glue compound in the glue pans in process of production, and at equipment cleaning at the end of a work shift get easier and faster.
