The plastic cups are usually used to pack bulk, liquid, and viscous food into them. In order to prevent their leaking out (falling out), and contaminating environment with the contents as well as to improve convenient transportation, and to extend storage term, the cups get sealed, that is edge-soldered. As a rule, polymer film is used for this purpose.
The edge-soldering machines are heating tools made of metal with the diameter according to the cup size. They press the film tight to the cups melting it. After cooling the polymer material 'glues' tightly to the cup.
The devices for sealing the cups can be manual or automatic. At using any of them, an issue of film sticking to the surfaces of the edge-soldering devices appears.
Applying of MODENGY 1007 anti-adhesive coating becomes a solution of this issue. It has excellent separating properties.
A layer of the coating is characterized by high adhesion to the surface of the edge-soldering machine, and has no adhesion to the melted film. Due to this, it is possible to get rid of sticking for a long while, in some cases equal to the service lifetime of the equipment.
This anti-adhesive product is applied onto prepared part surfaces by standard painting methods (mainly by spraying out), and polymerizes at heating in a kiln.
The long operational service term of the coating on the edge-soldering elements is conditioned by its good adhesion to the base (provided the part surfaces were prepared in a quality way prior applying this product), high heat resistance (up to +350 °С), resistance towards mechanical damages, and exposure to aggressive liquids.
Use of MODENGY 1007 anti-adhesive anti-sticking coating enables to improve quality of edge-soldering plastic cups with film, to reduce equipment downtimes for cleaning the heating devices, to extend service lifetime of the accessories.
