Truck crane is a machine equipped with the devices to lift and move loads.
The basic working element of the truck crane is a boom, and its technical and operational features define the machinery lifting power indexes.
The most common booms type is telescopic devices, the structures consisting of several extendable sections.
Between the internal and outer sections of the booms, the polymer slide guideways are established which serve to reduce the gap between the walls, and to improve smooth extending of the components. The heavy loads affecting the boom bend are distributed onto them as well.
To reduce friction between the mated surfaces of the slide supports and booms walls as well as to prevent corrosion of the metal parts, greases are used. However, these compounds are squeezed out of the friction zone at high specific pressures.
This causes increasing wear of the parts, stick-slip motion while sections moving against each other, corrosion centers forming.
As more effective and durable solution MODENGY PTFE - A20 anti-friction solid-film coating which is made on basis of polytetrafluorethylene is applied onto the truck cranes telescopic booms walls.
It forms a dry lubricating layer on the operating surfaces which has high load-carrying capacity, anticorrosive properties, and wide service temperature range.
This product is applied onto the prepared surface of the parts by the standard painting methods including spraying out of the aerosol can. The coating cures without heating what enables to use it in a convenient way in the field.
A translucent wear-resistant layer of MODENGY PTFE-A20 needs no refreshing for the entire operating term of the truck cranes.
Due to use of this product, stick-slip motion at telescoping is prevented, and service lifetime of the lifting mechanism extends.
