A sticky tape with logotypes or other information applied onto its surface is a great commercial tool, and the guaranty against unauthorized package opening, and replacing the sticky tape.
Applying an image onto a sticky tape can be done by several methods, one of which is surface printing.
Advantages of this printing method over the other ones are easiness, high rate of making the items, and small expenses to provide the engineering procedure.
It intends applying information onto the tape when one of its sides already has the acrylic sticky material applied on it.
Creating images on the ready sticky tape is done by using a painting shaft and a drum between which the tape is being pulled through. Its sticky side is faced to the drum, and the film side is faced the shaft.
Lacquer is applied on top of the trace left by the shaft, it prevents paint from fading, and the logos from damaging.
Surface printing enables to get a quality image within a short term, however this process has to be interrupted frequently because of acrylic sticky layer sticking to the drum.
Anti-adhesive coatings are intended to solve the issues like that. They effectively prevent the drum and the sticky tape from sticking together, and thus provide continuous printing without forming defective items.
The coating is applied onto the drum surfaces contacting with the glue at the Modengy Engineering Center in Bryansk town. High complexity of this engineering process limits opportunities for independent application of the material.
Due to solving the issue of sticky tape sticking to the drum, it gets possible to improve efficiency of equipment operation, and quality of making branded sticky tapes.
