At the international TatOilExpo-2024 Petrochemical Exhibition, the Modengy company presented one of the main developments for the past year: MODENGY 1026 anti-friction solid-film coating based on molybdenum disulfide.
It belongs to the coatings class that cure at room temperature. As a rule, such materials provide mean corrosion protection level, and have a limited service lifetime.
MODENGY 1026 exceeds all the products of its class on running properties.
The coating has high anti-corrosive properties (more than 760 hours, according to the results of the accelerated tests in salt mist on ISO 9227). Not all thermally cured compounds are capable to retain their protective performance in the aggressive media for such a long while.
MODENGY 1026 contains the reinforcing fiber structures in its composition that makes a layer stronger, and due to that the longer service lifetime of the coating is achieved.
MODENGY 1026 perfectly fits to be applied onto large-size parts requiring long-term protection against corrosion and wear, and since this product is easy to apply out of an aerosol can, and it cures without heating in a kiln, it can be used even in the field.
For the purpose of professional applying at industrial sites by spraying out of the painting equipment, MODENGY 1026 suspension is packed into metal cans and pails.
The coating gets positive feedback from the Russian enterprises, and is widely used in the units with metal-to-metal friction pairs in the equipment for various industries spheres.
