After having evaluated shape and size of the customer’s parts, as well as location of the surfaces to be coated, the Modengy’s engineers design a producible process to apply the anti-friction coating. They also take into account if it is mass production, and the amount of a certain batch to be coated.
The most productive way to apply the coatings onto large batches of small-sized parts (such as bolts, nuts, studs, washers, disk springs, minor-diameter polymer seals, and others) is centrifuging.
It is fulfilled in the centrifuges. In them, a layer of the anti-friction coating distributes evenly over the parts surfaces.
Centrifuging is a quick and easy way to apply coatings onto the parts that enables to create a uniform layer of equal thickness on any area of the surface. By this criterium, centrifuging can exceed the method of applying the materials by spraying out of a pneumatic gun or an aerosol can.
Applying anti-friction coatings by the method of dipping with centrifuging onto large batches of bulk parts is carried out at the Modengy Engineer Center in Bryansk town.
