The Modengy company has started releasing MODENGY 1071 anti-friction solid-film coating for petal gas-dynamic bearings (PGDBs). This product development is the result of the long research activity in the field of creating the coatings in the composition of which the adaptative mechanism is realized.

This coating is intended to reduce friction and protect the operating surfaces of the PGDBs against wear at the moments of starting and stopping of the powerplants and equipment they are operating in.

Due to adaptative mechanism realization, friction coefficient of the coating remains stable within a wide range of contact pressures.

MODENGY 1071 successfully replaces the imported coatings used by the abroad manufacturers of the PGDBs, and is the best representative in the specialty coatings segment, according to comparative trials.
