At the territory of one of the large Russian manufacturers of agricultural machinery, testes for MODENGY 4002 paste at press fitting of the on-board reductor ‘shaft-gear’ pair have been held.
“Using MODENGY 4002 solid-film paste has enabled to reduce temperature of the gear heating from +135 °С to +85 °С. Decrease of this part heating temperature has enabled to cut down ‘shaft-gear’ pair assemble time by 10 minutes, what, in its turn, significantly increased the quantity of the final products released”, is pointed in the fit-up testing report.
Besides, use of this paste based on molybdenum disulfide protects the mated surfaces against forming scuffing and other damages, improves smoothness of parts assembly, and prevents effort leaps at press fitting.
According to the results of the successful tests, MODENGY solid-film paste has been recommended to be used in press fitting process.
