Pistons are one of the basic components of the internal combustion engines. Thanks to gas pressure forming as a result of the burning fuel, they make the connecting rods and the crankshaft connected with them into motion.
The truck engines pistons operate under conditions of high temperatures, extreme loads, and severe friction. As a result of this, the parts get worn fast, scuffing forms on their surfaces.
For the purpose of reducing friction and wear of the moving elements, a lubricating liquid – oil – constantly circles inside the motor. However, at so called oil starving that gets a consequence of leaking out, loss, improper selection of the material, or its ill-timed replacement, the parts function under conditions of dry friction, and fail within a short while. Besides, the pistons in the cylinders can jam what leads to need of expensive restoration of the ICE.
In order to reduce pistons wear at oil lack, MODENGY 1003 anti-friction solid-film coating is used. It forms a resistant dry layer on the parts surface which reduces friction of the mated elements, prevents scuffing from forming at overheating and extreme loads, makes engine start in a cold weather easier.
This product is applied by standard painting methods on the stage of pistons production. Due to it, their stable operation at high temperatures and under complex operational conditions is provided.
