MODENGY 1009 is an anti-friction solid-film coating that is made on base of polytetrafluorethylene with organic binder, organic solvent, and functional additives.
It is unique product since it has a number of performances that enable to apply it to solve the tasks untypical for anti-friction solid-film coatings.
Due to its low polymerization temperature, MODENGY 1009 can be applied onto plastics, and reduce friction in polymer-to-polymer, and metal-to-polymer pairs. Other heat-cured coatings are capable to reduce friction in the friction units having a part made of polymer while being applied on the metal mating part only.
MODENGY 1009 has very water-repellent property, that is a layer of the coating doesn’t interact with liquid substance molecules. This enables to use it to prevent moisture accumulating and freezing-on.
This coating can be used in the units jointly with the conventional lubricating materials such as oils and greases. It also doesn’t get destroyed being exposed to chemically aggressive media.
MODENGY 1009 can be applied by the method of electrostatic spraying.
