MODENGY 1107 specific coating is successfully used in repairing truck pistons proving its efficiency in improving operational features of the engine parts in the severest modes of operation including ‘cold’ starting, ‘oil starving’, and overheating.
MODENGY 1107 coating based on graphite is a standard in engine engineering, it is used in mass production of pistons, and is applied by the screen printing method. However, the areas where this product is used are not limited to engine plants only.
To restore the initial factory coating, MODENGY 1107 is applied onto the piston skirts by the method of spraying out at truck engines complete overhaul. The compound is diluted by a solvent according to the technical instructions to obtain optimal viscosity required to be applied out of the MODENGY M1-250 spray gun.
Use of MODENGY 1107 provides friction and wear reduction at the most critical moments of an engine operation which significantly expends service lifetime of the cylinder-piston group, and improves general reliability of the power unit.
The composition of MODENGY 1107 was designed specifically taking into account constantly increasing piston loads in the up-to-date engines. The coating is notable for high thermal stability, effectiveness in the modes of boundary lubrication, long service lifetime, and compatibility with engine oils, various types of fuel.
