For the purpose of efficient operating of the thermo moulding machines edge-soldering knives, anti-sticking coatings are applied onto them on the stage of production.

A layer of the coating serves as a barrier between the heated surfaces of the knives and the polymer materials to be thermo moulded.

Damaging this layer threatens to arise a number of issues leading to decrease in productivity and product quality because packaging material sticking to the edge-solderers causes defects on the solder seam while hard-to-be-removed carbon deposit is forming on the soldering tools.

In order to restore the separating layer and to prevent package from sticking-on, MODENGY PTFE-A20 anti-adhesive coating based on polytetrafluorethylene is applied onto the soldering knives that might be heated up to +130 °С. And in order to create an anti-adhesive coating on the edge-soldering devices operating at the higher temperatures, heat-cured coatings from the MODENGY products line are used.

MODENGY PTFE-A20 is very easy to use: it is just sprayed out of an aerosol can onto preliminary cleaned parts surfaces and requires no heating to get cured. The edge-solderers can be operated just in 30 minutes after applying the latest layer.

This coating has long service term. If necessary, an additional layer of the product can be applied to improve performance quality of the equipment.

Efficiency of using MODENGY anti-adhesive coatings is proved by a wide application experience, and by feedbacks from the customers.
