A ball support is used to provide turning of the fore wheels. It connects a suspension lever and a hub of the controllable wheel.

At the first signs of ball support wear such as noise while driving along a rough road, squeak at steering wheel turning, uneven tire wear, it is required to repair or replace them.

While trying to dismantle the connection, the car owners often face the issue of sticking the ball stud's thread to the steering knuckle. So, they have to cut down the thread, and replace the entire connection.

In order to avoid damaging parts during mounting and dismantling, the experts recommend applying MODENGY PTFE - A20 anti-friction solid-film coating onto the thread of the ball stud. It is made on basis of polytetrafluorethylene, has high separating properties, and resistance to scuffing.

This product effectively protects the thread against corrosion, prevents its galling, doesn’t contribute to sticking dust and other abrasives onto the unit.

The coating is convenient for self-use since it has aerosol package, and cures at room temperature for only 30 minutes.
