An adjusting valve is an element of pipeline fitting that controls operational media consumption and pressure. It is done by changing the inlet hole diameter to increase or decrease carrying capacity of the system.
The pipeline valves used in the oil-and-gas sphere have a number of features. First of all, it must be made of wear resistant materials capable to operate at high pressures, loads, in contact with aggressive media. Safety of the oil-and-gas facilities operating depends on reliable functioning and long service lifetime of the valves.
To provide trouble-free oil products transportation, MODENGY 1014 anti-friction solid-film coating is applied onto the adjusting valves of the pipeline fitting. It has high chemical resistance, and anti-corrosive properties (more than 672 hours of corrosion protection according to the test results in salt mist according to ISO 9227 Standard).
Besides, this product provides easy assembly-disassembly of the structure, prevents forming scuffing and galling of the threaded parts, reduces and stabilizes friction.
MODENGY 1014 is applied onto a cleaned and degreased surface of the parts by the standard painting methods, after that it polymerizes at heating up to +200 °С within 40 minutes.
Use of this coating provides reliable and long-term operating of the adjusting valves without need in following maintenance of the units.
