A manufacturer of innovative medicines uses MODENGY 1009 coating to prevent stick-slip motion of glass vials along transporting lines.
This product based on polytetrafluorethylene is applied onto the side guideways which the glass vessels are sliding along. A thin separating layer excludes glass contact with the metal surfaces of the equipment reducing friction, preventing jams, vessel turns, noise at items moving on as well as provides keeping friction coefficient low when any medical liquids get onto the guideways.
In addition, since it has high chemical resistance, MODENGY 1009 protects the parts surfaces against aggressive media impact, particularly, against alcoholic solutions.
MODENGY 1009 coating was applied at the Modengy Engineering Center as a replacement for the plant coating that had worn in process of operating the equipment.
Use of MODENGY 1009 anti-friction solid-film coating provides smooth trouble-free sliding of the glass vessels along the transporting lines, and extends service lifetime of the metal side guideways.
