Membrane media separators are devices intended to protect sensitive elements of measuring instruments (manometers, regulators, and others) against the aggressive media to be measured.

Prevention of direct contact between the devices and the liquids reacting with them within chemical interaction is achieved due to the separator’s membrane. Pressure of the aggressive medium affects the membrane by compressing it and squeezing out the neutral liquid towards the sensitive element.

Chemically aggressive media impact operability of the media separators in an adverse way - their components are subjected to corrosive attack, and get into the state where they can’t fulfill their functions any more.

For the purpose of minimizing the impact onto the separators elements caused by the aggressive liquids, and thus, to improve their reliability and to extend their service lifetime, MODENGY 1014 coating is used.

This chemically resistant coating creates a steady layer of the parts that insulates metal surfaces from direct contact with acids, and other chemically aggressive substances.

The coating is applied onto the membrane surface to protect it against contact with the aggressive liquids as well as onto the external part of the separator case to prevent damage at exposure to aggressive vapours which are present in the environment in high concentration.

MODENGY 1014 is applied on the parts surfaced preliminary prepared in a specific way by method of spraying out of a pneumatic gun for painting, and gets polymerized at heating in a kiln. Having been applied according to the process message, a layer of this product needs no regular renewal.

Use of MODENGY 1014 chemically resistant coating enables to significantly extend service lifetime of the membrane media separators, and measuring apparatuses as it is intended to protect them.
