The disk springs are steel items used to cushion shocks at high effort in small spaces. They are flat or cone-shaped disks that have high elastic coefficient. These springs can be used in sets.

These parts find application in many equipment kinds including lifting machinery, safety valves, brake devices, accessories to extracting rocks, for oil extraction.

At using them in oil-and-gas sphere, the disk springs apart from high dynamic or static loads are subjected to aggressive media impact, namely chlorides, and hydrochloric acid water solution at high temperatures. As a result, service lifetime of the equipment gets significantly shorter.

One of the most effective ways to protect the disk springs against corrosion, and damages at impacting of negative factors is applying a chemically resistant coating.

MODENGY 1014 anti-friction solid-film coating that is made on basis of polytetrafluorethylene and molybdenum disulfide reveals excellent results at operating in chemically aggressive media.

This product insulates the spring surfaces from contact with external environment, due to which provides their long regular functioning.

As a part of accelerated tests in the salt mist chamber according to ISO 9227 international standard, MODENGY 1014 has demonstrated protection for the treated parts for at least 729 hours.

Applying of the coating is performed with MODENGY M1-250 spraying gun. For polymerization of the product, the spring should be heated in a kiln. The single application of the product is enough to provide long reliable operating of the parts.

Use of MODENGY 1014 protective coating enables to extend service lifetime of the disk springs operating in the aggressive media by times.
