A dissolver is a machine for mixing materials with different physical and mechanical indexes. It is equipped with a vertical screw, a milling cutter that due to its rotating on a high speed provides mixing several components into a uniform mass.
The dissolvers are widely used at producing varnishes, paints, lubricants, dispersions, adhesives, and other materials with dissimilar components requiring thorough mixing.
Metal screw of the dissolver is subjected to corrosion forming. As a result of this, the particles of rust get into the tank for mixing the materials, and make the finished products improper for using.
To solve this issue, MODENGY 1011 anti-friction solid-film coating based on polytetrafluorethylene is used on the dissolvers screws.
It has high anticorrosive properties, and it is proved with the results of the accelerated tests in salt mist chamber, according to ISO 9227 standard, that the coating retains its protective function for more than 500 hours.
MODENGY 1011 is a chemically inert product. It doesn’t react with the components to be mixed, and doesn´t influence the features of the finished product.
Due to its anti-adhesive properties, the coating also reduces degree of substance sticking onto the screw decreasing time for cleaning the equipment from the product residues.
MODENGY 1011 is applied just once, and requires no refreshing for the entire service term of the dissolver. It provides long and trouble-free functioning of the screws without forming corrosion centers on the parts.
