MODENGY coatings have found a use in the equipment for monitoring that operates at the Arctic offshore, namely, in the undersea robot systems hydraulic cylinders.
Since they are operated under severe marine conditions, the hydraulic cylinder parts are subjected to corrosive destruction within a short while, and as result of that the expensive complicated equipment fails to fulfill its functions in a proper way, and need repairing.
MODENGY 1066 coating, while being applied onto the internal surfaces of the marine robots hydraulic cylinders, enables to solve the issue of the metals corrosive destruction effectively and for a long term.
According to the results of the accelerated tests in the neutral salt mist on ISO 9227 standard, this product based on molybdenum disulfide and graphite has great anti-corrosive properties, and enables to significantly extend service lifetime of metal even under severe operational conditions.
High anti-friction properties of this product are no less important. This coating reduces friction during hydraulic cylinder running improving smoothness of its going, and operating efficiency of the equipment.
MODENGY 1066 coating is applied onto the internal surfaces of the hydraulic cylinders by the method of spraying out of the painting equipment at the Modengy Engineer Center. The product polymerization is held in a kiln.
Due to use of MODENGY 1066 anti-friction solid-film coating, operation reliability of the lifting robot systems to be operation at the Arctic offshore increases.
