Spunbond is the name of a non-fabric material that is made according to special technology out of primary polymers such as polypropylene fibres, and polyether fibres.
It has excellent operational properties including moisture and air permeability, resistance towards ultraviolet radiation, mechanical damages, low and high temperatures, nonsusceptibility to decay, non-toxicity, long service lifetime.
The non-fabric material is widely used for the purposes of soil covering, plants protection at negative temperatures, disposable clothes is made of it, medical in particular, and also bags, furniture accessories, and other items.
To fasten together the spunbond sheets at producing the goods, the method of thermo-welding is used. It is melting polymer up to melting temperature, and pressing its parts together. When the material cools down, a strong seam forms.
To form the seams, edge-soldering rollers are used that get heated up to +150...+200 °С. They are rolled slowly along the material sheets, and thus bond them.
The spunbond made of polymer materials sticks to a metal roller in process of edge-soldering. It has a negative effect on quality of the items, production line productivity, and equipment service lifetime.
In order to prevent sticking, and to provide stable operating of the edge-solderers, the spunbond producers use MODENGY 1007 anti-adhesive coating.
It creates a thin separating layer on the rollers that is characterized by high adhesion to the base, and has none cohesion at all with melted polymer. Due to this, the issue of sticking is completely solved for a long while (a lot of factors have an effect on the service term). This product can be used on the parts of the equipment operating at up to +350 °С.
This coating is applied by method of spraying out, and polymerizes at heating in a kiln.
Use of the anti-adhesive coating enables to provide regular functioning of the equipment on producing spunbond, and the items made of it.
