The difficulties at furniture production are related to the fact that in most cases it is impossible to manufacture (and to sell) the series items only. That is why the furniture enterprises are equipped with the equipment to fulfill both highly specialized and universal technological operations. This equipment as a rule is expensive and large-dimension, consuming a lot of electrical energy.
Regular maintenance of the woodworking machines allows to avoid extra costs for their unscheduled repairs. The following issues can be successfully solved with the properly selected lubricating materials:
- Bad sliding of the workpieces along the worktable surface
- Low accuracy of workpieces positioning
- Big effort that is required to be applied by the operators to move the workpieces
- High friction force in the metal/metal pair
- Friction units contamination with wood dust
- Accelerated wear of the slide surfaces
The most effective means to make workpieces sliding easier, and to prevent sticking wood dust onto the work tables have been suggested by the Modengy company.
MODENGY PTFE-A20 anti-friction solid-film coating based on polytetrafluorethylene creates a dry lubricating-and-protective layer on the surface. It prevents dust sticking, and reduces friction coefficient. As a result, accuracy of positioning the workpieces on the woodworking machines increases while wear of work tables considerably reduces.
The coating is applied by spraying out from an aerosol can, so that no additional equipment is required.
