The cylinder block head (CBH) of the internal-combustion engines is intended for locking the system, and form closed chambers.
The plant structure includes gas-distributing valves, ignition plugs (or injectors at the diesel vehicles). A sealing gasket is put between the head and the cylinder block to provide impermeability.
The CBH is mounted with the studs that are fixed with washers and nuts. While operating, these parts are subjected to high loads, temperature drops, aggressive media impact. This leads to forming scuffing and thread galling, to risk of fastener damage at dismantling.
In order to improve functioning reliability and to extend service life of the CBH’s studs MODENGY 1007 solid-film coating is used.
It forms a resistant layer that makes mounting and dismantling connections easier, provides stable torque of their tightening, prevents various damages of the thread.
The coating thickness is 15 to 25 microns that’s why it makes no significant impact at the parts dimensions.
This product is applied with standard painting methods, and gets polymerizes at heating up to +200 °С within 20 minutes. It doesn’t destroy at contact with motor oil, and protects fastening studs for the entire period of their functioning.
