To protect respiratory organs against fine-dispersed dust, smoke, fog, harmful gases, and other finest particles, respirators, the multi-layer medical filtering items, are used.
Their basis is made of polypropylene, nonwoven synthetic material. Shape is given to a blank by using metal moulds.
Melted polypropylene is put into a container repeating the configuration of the future items. After the material gets cooler, the blank gains the cup-shaped form.
The specialists on producing blanks for the medical respirator face the issue of polypropylene sticking to the shape-forming surface of the moulds. It causes difficulties with taking the basis out of the container, damages of the surface of the respirator, need in unscheduled cleaning of the equipment from the residues of the stuck substance. Under conditions of constant impact of the detergents, service lifetime of the equipment gets shorter.
To solve the issue of a polypropylene blank sticking to a mould, MODENGY 1007 anti-adhesive coating based on graphite is used.
It forms a smooth separating layer on the shape-forming surface that prevents contact between metal and polypropylene.
This coating has wide service temperature range (-50 °С to +350 °С), long service lifetime, resistance to mechanical damages, detergents, and other chemically aggressive liquids.
This product is applied by the standard painting methods, and gets polymerized at heating in a kiln at +200 °С within 20 minutes.
Use of MODENGY 1007 enables to exclude unscheduled stops of production process to clean the equipment, to provide trouble-free operation, and high productivity of the technological line on producing blanks for respirators.
