While arranging the oil wells, the clutches are used to connect the pump-compressor pipes into a single column.
The elements must provide leak-tight and reliable connection of the pipes, to have resistance to corrosion under conditions of exposing to aggressive media, to withstand high pressures, temperature drops, and impact of the other external factors.
To provide these features, special protective materials are applied onto the clutches of the pump-compressor pipes (PCPs). MODENGY 1014 anti-friction solid-film coating based on polytetrafluorethylene and molybdenum disulfide has revealed itself to be efficient to solve this task.
It creates a strong thin layer on the parts that insulate clutches surfaces from impact of the external factors.
This anti-friction solid-film coating has high anti-corrosive and anti-scuffing properties. It extends service lifetime of the parts functioning under adverse operational conditions, makes the process of mounting and dismantling the connections easier, prevents parts jamming and galling.
This chemically resistant product doesn’t collapse at contact with aggressive media, and needs no refreshing for the entire service lifetime of the clutches to connect the pump-compressor pipes.
MODENGY 1014 is applied by the standard painting methods onto prepared parts surface, and polymerizes at heating in a kiln.
Use of this coating enables to extend service lifetime of the threaded connections even under conditions of frequent screwing / unscrewing, to provide lubrication, and easy mounting and dismantling of the parts without using thread pastes.
