The automotive damper is intended to absorb shocks and vibrations of the moving elements and the body of a vehicle. Its construction includes a rod that supports the entire plant.
In order to provide free turning the rod about its axis, and reducing friction between the rod and its guideway, the install special fluoroplastic bushings, that is the bearings intended for dry sliding.
In the course of time, such bushings wear what causes noise that appears while a car is moving, especially along uneven road, and steering control operates worse. Replacement of the separating part requires time and financial expenses.
MODENGY 1003 anti-friction solid-film coating is applied onto the internal surface of the damper rod guideway as an effective replace for the slide bearing. It provides reduction and stabilization of friction in the mechanisms, decrease of wear of the moving parts, improves smooth going of the car.
A resistant layer of solid lubricant adheres strongly with the guideway surface, and operates in a stable way during the entire service lifetime of the dampler.
Eliminating the fluoroplastic bushing out of the system provides reducing prime cost of the device, and at the same time retains all its performances.
