One of the Russian manufacturers of hydraulic equipment has found a way to reduce prime cost of making axial piston pumps.
It is to apply MODENGY 1003 anti-friction solid-film coating based on molybdenum disulfide and graphite onto the parts of distributors and slide disks.
Expensive constructive materials had been used at producing the axial piston pumps at that plant before since they are capable to be operated at higher friction and high loads for a long while.
MODENGY 1003 efficiently reduces friction coefficient, so that no equipment wear increase is observed while the parts made of more available constructive material and treated with the coating are being used instead of those made of more expensive components.
This coating has high load-carrying capacity, long service lifetime (it can serve as lifetime lubrication), low friction coefficient.
It is applied onto the parts by the method of spraying, and can get cured in a kiln, or at room temperature.
Use of MODENGY 1003 anti-friction solid-film coating provides long workability of the axial piston pumps units without need in maintaining them.
