One of the areas of the petroleum refinery enterprises is making polymer materials. The carbohydrate processing products are the raw material sources to produce polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene, butadiene rubber, and other petrochemicals.
Oil refining consists of several complicated engineering stages. The experts remark that a significant issue raises at the stage of dealing with the polymer materials in their melted condition that leads to efficiency decrease, and wear acceleration of the measuring equipment.
The melt whose temperature makes +320 °С is sticking onto the measuring parts of the pressure sensors. This causes decrease in measurement accuracy, necessity to stop production to clean or replace the sensors, accelerated wear of the equipment.
In order to make the automated oil refinery engineering process continuous, and equipment operating accurate and longterm, MODENGY 1007 is used.
This coating with high anti-adhesive properties effectively prevents polymer materials from sticking to the sensors measuring parts. It forms a steady separating layer that insulates the devices' surfaces from direct contact with the melt.
MODENGY 1007 has high heat resistance: it operates in contact with the media heated up to +350 °С, it is resistant to short-term overheating.
The coating is applied by the method of spraying, and gets polymerized in a kiln, after cure it forms a thin steady layer on the surfaces that requires no frequent renewing.
Due to applying MODENGY 1007, reliability and operating accuracy of the devices to measure melt parameters increases, and equipment wear decreases.
