Manufacturer of the pipes of low pressure polyethylene faced the issue of wearing the molding gauges responsible for outer diameter of the items.
While passing through the gauging devices, the heated polymer material is getting required shape, and after that get cooled, and is divided into segments, or is rolled into coils.
In process of operating wear of molding hole occurs because of high friction, and increase of its diameter leads to discrepancy of the finished items’ size to the standards. As a result, these pipes are qualified to be defective.
In order to reduce wear of the gauging holes, MODENGY 1007 coatings is used. Due to its high anti-friction properties and wear-resistance, this product enables to prevent calibrators from wearing, and thus, providing high quality of LPP pipes making.
Besides, MODENGY 1007 having high anti-adhesive properties prevents heated polyethylene from sticking to metal surfaces of the calibrators, eliminating risk of damaging the pipe surfaces.
Use of MODENGY 1007 enables to prevent the molding gauges of the tool machines on producing LPP pipes from wearing as well as to improve quality of the releasing products.
