The drying kilns are used to remove moisture out of the various items. The application fields of such plants are diverse enough including light and heavy industries, woodworking productions, agricultural and other industries.
The wheels of various materials are used to make kiln trolleys moving easier. The optimal choice for this purpose is metal parts that have high strength, lifting capacity, and resistance to heating.
The equipment of the drying kilns operate under conditions of significant load and temperatures (+200 °С and higher) that’s why some areas need protecting against overheating and damaging. Particularly, such units are slide bearings of the wheels with a through hole.
Greases or liquid lubricating materials are usually applied onto them but they burn out being exposed to high temperatures, and require frequent renewing.
Applying of MODENGY 1005 and MODENGY 1014 anti-friction solid-film coatings is an effective alternative. They form a wear-resistant dry layer that reduces friction coefficient and wear of the elements, makes smooth motion easier, eliminates squeak at moving the trolley.
These materials operate at up to +255 °С, have high load carrying capacity, and long service lifetime – they provide lubrication for the entire period of the parts functioning without renewing the once applied layer.
If the trolleys need to be operated under more severe conditions, MODENGY coating with the upper service temperature limit of up to +500 °С can be used to treat the wheels.
