The typical issues at assembly of the pressure couplings on the hydraulic press are high press fitting effort, appearing of stick-slip motions, contact surfaces damaging. It is conditioned by higher friction as well as high contact pressures at low moving rate, great difference between coefficient of static friction, and coefficient of sliding friction values.
For many plants and enterprises, the most effective way to optimize press fitting of different-purpose connections has become using MODENGY 4002 anti-scuffing paste based on molybdenum disulfide.
This paste effectively reduces friction, decreases press fitting effort, and minimizes effort leaps, improves smoothness of press moving, protects the surfaces of the mating parts against scuffing, and other damages, excludes heating of the elements.
As an example, let’s consider an extract from the feedback from a Russian manufacturer of press equipment who used MODENGY 4002 anti-scuffing paste at press fitting the shaft-and-gear pair: “…use of MODENGY 4002 solid-film paste has enabled to reduce temperature of forced heating of the gear from 135 °С down to 85 °С which enabled to cut down the assembly time by 10 minutes, what in its turn significantly increased quantity of released items.” (end of the quote)
In the video below we have gathered up some feedbacks from the enterprises who have successfully tested MODENGY 4002 paste, and now recommend it for further application at press fitting.
Use of MODENGY 4002 anti-scuffing paste enables the enterprises of various industries to reduce labour working hours for pressure couplings assembly, minimize probability of parts damaging, stabilize press fitting process, and to increase output volume.
