In February 2023, the tests of MODENGY 4002 anti-scuffing paste in the units of the rolling cages were held at the territory of one of the leading Russian enterprises producing rolled section steel and other metallurgy products.

The paste was applied onto the sanded surfaces of the rings blockage units shafts, and then the bushings were pressed onto them under high pressure. After 3 to 4 days of operating, the bushings were dismantled. In process of operating the parts were subjected to high temperatures and high loads from the rolled metal.

“No troubles with bushings unpressing and taking them off the working shafts arose, positive effect as a result of using MODENGY 4002 paste has achieved," the enterprise’s specialists remark.

The paste has prevented the parts from ‘sticking’, and provided easy bushings dismantling by having protected the surfaces against damages.

The paste is applied onto the working shafts prior every bushings mounting. The technology of using the paste is easy, and the time required is short (5 to 10 minutes per two shafts) which enables to do this quickly.

MODENGY 4002 is made on the basis of molybdenum disulfide and mineral base oil. It effectively separates the surfaces preventing metal seizure and parts damage.

Use of the antiscuffing paste enables to significantly reduce labour and time costs for dismantling the washers as well as minimize probability of the rolling cage blocking unit failure, in general.
