A large Russian manufacturer of chemical reagents has successfully tested MODENGY 1009 coating in the units of their equipment.
The coating based on polytetrafluorethylene is applied onto the internal surfaces of gas flues (steel pipes) that are united into trunk lines to transport technological gas media.
Necessity in using the coating with high anti-adhesive properties is conditioned by sulfur, ash, and other deposits intensive sticking as a result of which the operators had to stop operating the trunk lines off-schedully and clean the gas flues in order to restore operating in a regular mode.
Application of MODENGY 1009 coating has enabled to significantly increase operational efficiency of gas flues, and to cut down costs for downtimes and cleaning the parts. Due to high anti-adhesive properties of the coating, no impurities can hold on the surfaces treated with it, and as a result gas flues rate of flow remains steadily high.
‘We are content with the results, and consider use of MODENGY 1009 quite reasonable. This coating has demonstrated its effectiveness, so we recommend its application for similar operating conditions’, the customer remarks.
