Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film is one of the most common materials to package a wide range of products into. It has high transparency, and great operational properties, it fits for thermos welding for the purpose of providing string tight packing of the goods.

Creating seams on the PVC film and other materials to be welded thermally is performed by using heating elements, namely the edge-solderers.

The tools heated to the polymer material melting point press the film sheets together connecting them on the molecular level. In process of this a pressure-tight seam forms protecting the contents of the package against the outer environment factors, and extending its storage term.

A great number of defective items appears on the stage of film edge-soldering. First of all, this related to melted polymer sticking to the surface of the metal heating tools.

The packing line operators have to stop the technological process regularly to remove residues of the stuck-on material, or to remove the layer of the carbon deposits adhered tightly to the tool after long functioning of the accessories.

The most effective solution for the polyvinyl chloride film edge-solderers is using MODENGY 1007 anti-adhesive coating. It has proved itself great to be used on the heating elements of the packing equipment.

This coating is applied out of the spray gun by several layer, forming a steady layer on the parts surface after its curing that has no coherence with the melted polymer material.

Due to this, easy tool separating from the film after its thermo welding is provided, carbon deposit forming is excluded, need in unscheduled stops of the technological line to remove polymer residues is eliminated, productivity of the goods packing process grows.
