The Modengy’s anti-friction solid-lubricating materials assortment has been enlarged with MODENGY 1009, the product based on polytetrafluorethylene.
This coating is perfectly suitable to be used on bearings, and slide guideways, in threaded connections, sealing devices, and in the other units containing metal-to-metal, metal-to-plastic, plastic-to-plastic friction pairs.
MODENGY 1009 gives an elegant appearance to the treated components as this product gets black matt after polymerization.
Among the main advantages of MODENGY 1009 against the other anti-friction coatings the following ones outstand:
- High hydrophobic properties – this product prevents moisture accumulation, and its freezing to the parts surface
- It fits to be used on the parts made of plastic while the other coatings that get polymerized in a kiln have too high cure temperature what affects the constructive material in a negative way
- It is possible to apply it by the electrostatic spraying method
- It is acceptable to use it together with oils and greases
Alike the other anti-friction solid-film coatings, MODENGY 1009 has low friction coefficient, high anti-corrosive properties, wide service temperature range, is chemically resistant.
