Producers of medical furniture pay great attention not only to quality and comfort of their items but also to their aesthetic appearance. That’s why they choose MODENGY products to maintain movable units of the medical armchairs.

The sliding guideways of the armrests consist of two mated parts one of which is fixed while the other one performs linear movement to adjust position of the support.

The units are not protected against dust and fine particles getting into them which can cause mechanism jamming. To provide reliable operating of the armrest, MODENGY 1014 anti-friction solid-film coating is applied onto the linear guideways. It reduces friction of the mated parts, improves smoothness of elements moving and adjusting, prevents dust from sticking onto the components, and due to this, the issue of jamming gets solved.

MODENGY 1014 is applied onto the prepared (cleaned and degreased) surface of the parts on the stage of producing them, and get polymerized at heating in a kiln. As soon as they get cool, a matt layer of dark-grey colour is formed on the elements, and it gives the armrests aesthetic appearance. Due to a dry texture of the coating, not only dust sticking is excluded but also dirty spots getting onto the medical employees’ clothes in process of adjusting the armrests’ position is prevented.

MODENGY PTFE - A20 anti-friction solid-film coating is applied onto the metal elements such as the bushings, for instance, as along their internal surface the tubes are moving in process of adjusting seat height. It provides friction reduction in the units, and corrosion protection for the parts.

This product is easy to apply out of the aerosol can, and cures at room temperature. Translucent coating doesn’t spoil appearance of the items.
